Senate List

Adrian Streinu Cercel, a medical doctor and current PSD senator from Bucharest, opens the Senate list. He is also the president of the Public Health Committee and a former State Secretary in the Ministry of Health. Streinu Cercel has been a university professor at the „Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest since 2012. Between 2012 and 2016, he served as the president of the Senate at UMF „Carol Davila”. Streinu Cercel held the position of general manager at the „Prof. Dr. Matei Bals” National Institute of Infectious Diseases for several years.

Following him on the list is jurist Robert Cazanciuc, a senator and vice-president of the Upper House of Parliament. Cazanciuc has a background as Minister of Justice, Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chief Prosecutor, Head of the Press Office at the High Court of Cassation and Justice, Director General in the Government Control Body, and Undersecretary of State in the Romanian Government.

Continuing the Senate List

Daniel Zamfir, an engineer by profession, is next on the list, serving as a senator for the second term. Gabriel Mutu, a jurist and senator for the third term, follows him. Mutu was the mayor of Sector 6 of the Capita[mepr-show rules=”1611″ unauth=”both”]l between 2016 and 2020.

Adrian Tutuianu, a jurist and current Deputy Secretary General of the Government, occupies the fifth position on the PSD list for the Senate. Tutuianu held two senatorial mandates in Dambovita and also served as the President of the Dambovita County Council. He briefly served as Minister of National Defense but resigned due to communication issues with the then Prime Minister Mihai Tudose.

The Senate list of the social democrats also includes a diverse range of professionals such as lawyers, actors, university professors, and engineers.

Chamber of Deputies List

Mihai Ghigiu, currently the head of the Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu’s Chancellery, tops the PSD list for the Chamber of Deputies. Ghigiu is a university lecturer with a background in administrative studies and has held various high-ranking positions in public administration and education.

Following Ghigiu is economist Rodica Nassar, a deputy with extensive experience in Parliament. Marian Neacsu, an economist and current Vice Prime Minister, is next on the list. Florin Manole, a historian and deputy, is also featured on the list.

The list further includes professionals from various fields such as law, education, management, and public relations, showcasing the diverse expertise within the PSD ranks.
